Making a Call

To make a call from one campus extension to another use the 5-digit extension. Example:
6-5100.

To make a local call from a campus extension: dial 9 + the 3-digit area code + the
7-digit number.

To make a long-distance call from a campus extension: dial 9 + 1 + the 3-digit area
code + the 7-digit number.

To make an international call from a campus extension dial 011 +country code + city
code + number.

To reach University Information during normal business hours dial 0.

To call Emergency Services dial 911 or 9911.
E911
Under the Ray Baum Act telephone users are required to report their location to ensure E911 dispatchers
know where callers are. Report all telephone moves to telecommunications by completing
the request form.
