- Allow the following time from receipt of service request. Most requests should be completed within the listed time frames unless extenuating circumstances are encountered or if Telecommunication Services has received a large number of service requests.
- Less then 5 telephone/data: 10 working days
- Greater then 5 telephone/data: 15 working days
- Department Move: At least 1 month (More time may be required if additional hardware must be purchased.)
- The time required for a job varies depending on the amount of work to be done and available facilities. Standard jobs, such as relocating a single telephone usually require five days notice. Departments are encouraged to give Telecommunication Services as much notice as possible to ensure all necessary equipment will be installed when the actual change occurs. Upon request, Telecommunication Services will provide an estimate of the total monthly charges, non-recurring charges, and due date to the department head prior to beginning work. The department head will be notified of costs exceeding normal charges whenever possible. Call extension 64765 to check the status of an order.
