Seven digit authorization numbers may be issued, upon departmental request and approval, to faculty and staff.  These are primarily distributed to those needing to make long distance calls from on-campus telephones that do not have long distance capability . Authorization numbers are to be kept in a secure place to prevent fraudulent use. Departments are responsible for all charges billed to an authorization number.
